Inaki Williams Set To Play In Ghana For The First Time

Spain-based Ghanaian striker and Athletico Bilbao talisman, Inaki Williams could be on his way to making his first ever appearance in Ghana for Black Stars since sidelining Spain to represent the west Africa national team.
The salient Bilbao striker has been named in the Black Stars final 25-man squad for the oncoming 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Central African Republic, an encounter that will played on Thursday, September 7.
Inferring from his caps for the senior national of Ghana, this could be Inaki’s first game on Ghana soil for the Black Stars team since making his debut prior to the 2022 FIFA World Cup tournament held in Qatar against Brazil last year.
Not long ago, Inaki missed the games against Angola which could have been his debut on Ghana soil for the first time bu het could do that on Thursday afternoon at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, as Ghana faces Central Africa Republic.
Ghana must at least get a draw against the minnows of Central African Republic to ensure qualification for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations tournament set to be hosted in Ivory Coast next year January.
