Don Jazzy Describes Asake As Nigeria’s Lil Wayne

The widely acknowledged music producer and music executive, Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has described Nigerian-based singer Asake as “Nigeria’s Lil Wayne.”

Don Jazzy, a sound engineer who doubles as the CEO of Mavin Records, commended the YBNL signee as a generational musician during a recent podcast interview with DJ Big N.

“Asake is such a brilliant artist. He’s an all-rounder. He’s an artiste that we don’t get all the time, but when they come, you just know that a star has been born. Asake is Nigeria’s Lil Wayne.” the Mavin Music label boss’ said.

Asake happens to be one of the few Nigerian-based singers who have been able to set the notable record of filling the London 02 Arena.
