Iconic Ghanaian female singer, Okailey Verse popularly known as OV has revealed that despite terminating their music contracts four years ago, her former label boss, Stonebwoy, still wanted to work with her, however, behind closed doors.
According to OV, in an exclusive interview with Kwaku Manu, although her contract with the BHIM Nation label had been terminated, Stonebwoy wanted to still work with her, however, this time around, the “Bawasaaba” hitmaker wanted Ayisha Modi to be her manager.
“After the termination, I had a meeting, several meetings with big brother (Stonebwoy). He said he wants to work with me lowkey, but he wants Aisha to manage me and I told him no,” the female singer revealed.
Throwing more light on her reason for rejecting the offer, OV made it clear that she didn’t think Ayisha Modi had the professional experience to manage her career.
“Professionally, I hadn’t seen her work with any artiste and that is not even the main thing, I don’t think she has experience in managing an artiste” she said.
She went further to explain that she took the decision not to work with Ayisha Modi based on personal reasons.
The “Want Me” hitmaker further disclosed that Stonebwoy understood her decision not to work with Ayisha Modi.
