I’m Not In Competition With Anyone – King Promise

Award-winning Ghanaian Afrobeats singer and songwriter King Promise has stated emphatically that he is not in any competition with any musician within the entertainment industry and is solely focused on his music career.
Adding to this, the Abena hitmaker expressed his determination to continuously deliver his best in music and ensure that every song he releases becomes a success.
In an exclusive interview on JoyPrime, the talented male vocalist responded to questions about the impact of his trending song ‘Terminator’ and whether it was in competition with songs released by other musicians in the industry.
Responding to this question, King Promise clarified that he does not see himself as being in competition with any musician in the music industry; instead, he is solely focused on how he can consistently build up on his craft.
Furthermore, the Sisa crooner also acknowledged his fans and well-wishers for continuously pushing his songs which encourages him to produce more thrilling sounds
“It’s never been like that for me, never. From when I started, I only went to the studio to make music that I love. I’m not in competition with anybody, just myself. I try to give my best 100%. Nowhere near done. But yeah, whenever I make music or release music, the goal is to surpass my previous work. So, my next song has to be even better than the last one” he said.
King Promise’s dedication lies in extending the boundaries of his musical creativity rather than competing with other colleagues in the music terrain.
